The goal of Ithalomso Waste Management’s successful SETA-accredited Learnership Program was to empower and upskill its employees in accordance with industry best practices and national development priorities.

The training program, which was organized in conjunction with a registered SETA partner, brought together employees from different departments within the organization to engage in a structured learning process that combined classroom instruction with real-world experience. Waste management procedures, workplace safety and health, environmental compliance and providing exceptional customer service were among the main areas of focus.
Ithalomso Waste Management together with Services SETA launched a learnership program that will benefit 30 unemployed young people from disadvantaged backgrounds around Cape Town.
